What difference it will make to the people. We have seen evidence on another SoapBox project in Nepal, of how a whole community can be transformed by being able to access a clean water supply. The health issues are obvious but good water supplies mean that crops can be grown and sold. Local wealth (relatively) can increase as a result, sanitation can be provided, visibly better community health results.
